About the position

The position involves working closely with Commercial and Business Bankers to grow deposits and Treasury product fee income. The role requires being a trusted advisor to customers, assessing their needs, and recommending effective Treasury Management solutions. The ideal candidate should be self-sufficient, possess excellent communication skills, and be goal-driven, with flexibility to travel to different Centier locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Sales role to include cross-sell and new business development.
  • Develop effective strategies for maintaining and growing new and existing customer relationships to achieve established objectives.
  • Expand client relationships by communicating product changes, addressing client needs, and answering technical questions.
  • Be a valued partner for the Business Banking and Retail groups through training and joint calling on existing and new business opportunities.
  • Represent Centier in community activities including business, charitable, civic, and social events.
  • Coordinate customer service delivery and relationship management to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach.
  • Track sales calls and closed deals including deposits and fee income.
  • Maintain current knowledge of external conditions including competition, demographics, and regulatory requirements to ensure client needs are met.
  • Provide analysis, initiate projects and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Manage large business portfolios and account relationships.

Requirements

  • A college degree and at least 5 years of proven success in direct sales in Treasury Management.
  • Strong financial analysis experience with new and existing Business Banking relationships.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships with associates, prospects, and current clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in community engagement and representation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in banking.
