About the position

The Treasury Solutions Consultant at Truist Bank is responsible for consultative sales of Treasury Solutions (TS) products and services to a diverse client group, including Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Community Bank, Business Banking, Small Business Banking, and Wealth Management. The role emphasizes a cash flow management and working capital approach, focusing on risk mitigation while aligning with Truist's Purpose, Mission, and Values. The consultant will execute a sales plan, fostering strong partnerships and collaboration with various internal partners to identify and drive sales opportunities, ultimately aiming to achieve or exceed revenue and portfolio growth objectives for their assigned client portfolio. In this position, the consultant will independently manage a portfolio of clients with TS needs, requiring a general knowledge of banking and TS products and services, as well as working capital concepts. The consultant will participate in developing detailed relationship plans for clients and prospects, identifying key retention and new client acquisition opportunities. They will provide clients with working capital services and solutions, including receivables, payables, information reporting, and liquidity solutions. Adherence to all applicable policies and procedures is crucial, and the consultant must proactively escalate issues and risks to leadership. Effective communication is essential, as the consultant will consult with clients through various methods, including in-person meetings, emails, voicemails, and virtual meetings. Accurate reporting of sales efforts, progression, and revenue is also a key responsibility of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Executes sales plan and develops strong partnerships with internal partners to identify and drive client sales opportunities.
  • Fosters relationships with bankers and product partners for strategic client planning.
  • Independently manages a portfolio of clients with Treasury Solutions needs.
  • Participates in developing detailed relationship plans for clients/prospects to identify retention and acquisition opportunities.
  • Provides client working capital services and solutions, including receivables, payables, and liquidity solutions.
  • Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures, escalating issues to leadership as necessary.
  • Consults with clients through various communication methods effectively.
  • Responsible for accurate reporting of sales efforts and revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • 3 years of sales experience of financial or treasury products and/or services.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of Treasury/Cash Management Analyst experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Treasury Management Solutions.
  • Certified Treasury Professional.
