About the position
The Treatment Plan Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care within a dental practice. This position focuses on greeting and scheduling patients, presenting treatment plans, and ensuring that the office meets its production goals. The coordinator acts as an advocate for patients, helping them navigate their treatment options and financial responsibilities while fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and schedule patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Collect co-payments and present treatment plans to patients.
- Work to ensure schedules meet production goals and maintain office flow.
- Develop reports on production goals and patient treatment plans.
- Conduct treatment plan consultations with new and existing patients.
- Assist patients in prioritizing treatment and establishing scheduling and payment plans.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm new patient appointments.
Requirements
- 1 year of dental experience required.
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Outgoing, friendly, and professional personality with strong customer service skills.
- Organizational skills to manage patient schedules and treatment plans.
- Experience in dental or medical field with scheduling and insurance verification preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and dental software.
