About the position

The Treatment Plan Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the dental experience by providing exceptional patient care and support. This position focuses on greeting and scheduling patients, presenting treatment plans, and ensuring that the office meets its production goals. The coordinator acts as an advocate for patients, helping them navigate their dental care options and ensuring a smooth scheduling process.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and schedule patients, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Collect co-payments and present treatment plans to patients.
  • Work to ensure schedules meet production goals and develop reports on these goals.
  • Conduct treatment plan consultations with new and existing patients to address concerns and answer questions.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm new patient appointments, promoting flexibility and care.

Requirements

  • 1 year of dental experience required.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional personality with strong customer service skills.
  • Experience in dental or medical field with scheduling and verifying insurance preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products and dental software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with chair-side treatment planning.
  • Ability to learn new programs quickly.
