About the position

The General Tree Care Team at SavATree is responsible for providing high-quality tree care services, ensuring the health and preservation of clients' landscapes. This role involves working outdoors, applying expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety, and operating various equipment to deliver excellent service to clients.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively on a General Tree Care crew to provide high-quality tree care services.
• Perform tree pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks.
• Safely operate all necessary equipment while performing assigned job tasks.
• Provide excellent service to clients during tree care operations.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and understand their characteristics.
• Ability to climb trees without spurs.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Authorization to work lawfully in the U.S.
