About the position

The Senior Account Representative at Schwope Brothers West Coast is a pivotal role for individuals passionate about trees and sales. This position involves managing key accounts, driving sales growth, overseeing order management, and providing expert guidance to customers. The representative will play a crucial role in enhancing customer relationships and ensuring the efficient operation of sales processes within a dynamic tree farm environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Key Accounts & Clients Relationships by developing business relationships with customers' buyers and decision makers.
• Ensure orders are well balanced, booked on time, and shipped properly while protecting material availability.
• Take a leadership role within the sales team to support team members and achieve sales goals.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the nursery industry and provide appropriate substitution suggestions to customers.
• Maintain accurate customer information in CRM software (SalesForce and SBI) and document sales opportunities and cases.
• Generate content for marketing and advertising, including availability mailings.
• Maintain a high level of customer service through various communication methods and customer visits.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in related fields of Sales and Nursery Industry.
• Good knowledge of plant material and ability to identify cultivars on sight.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to think critically and strategically to drive sales growth.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish & English.
• Experience with CRM software, particularly SalesForce.
