About the position

The Trellix ePO Systems Administrator at COMSO, Inc. is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Trellix products in a global enterprise environment. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and involves providing support for malware security compliance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting system administrators with various requests. The position is primarily day shift, with after-hours on-call support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring Trellix products, including Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) Client, ENS Firewall, Threat Prevention, and Access Protection on Microsoft and Linux endpoints.
  • Maintaining malware security compliance and troubleshooting/resolving issues remotely via the Trellix ePO console.
  • Supporting system administrators with resolving desktop or server problems and requests such as software installs.
  • Assisting with the daily DAT file ingest/deployment cycle.
  • Ensuring the ePO infrastructure functions properly with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications.
  • Contributing to the development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for maintaining malware enterprise technologies.
  • Assisting with installing, testing, and deploying hotfixes/patches for Trellix product releases to manage enterprise vulnerabilities.
  • Assisting with the development of knowledge articles, documentation, and work instructions used by various teams.

Requirements

  • Direct experience in the implementation, administration, and configuration of Trellix ePO in a global enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) Product.
  • Bachelor's degree with 20 years of experience or no degree with 25 years of experience.
  • IAT Level 2 Certified (Security+).
