About the position

The firm is seeking a full-time attorney licensed in Michigan, who possesses 3-5 years of experience specifically in medical malpractice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research and writing, which are essential skills for assisting the firm's trial lawyers. This position involves significant engagement in legal research, writing, and motion practice, contributing to the preparation and execution of trial strategies. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate closely with trial lawyers and support staff, ensuring that all legal documents are meticulously prepared and that the team operates efficiently. The firm values strong professional judgment, a solid work ethic, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their legal acumen through their past experiences and provide samples of their work, including a complaint and an affidavit of merit (AOM) with identifying information redacted. Responsibilities

Requirements

• 3-5 years of medical malpractice litigation and trial experience.
• J.D. from an ABA-approved law school.
• Member in good standing and active in the Michigan Bar.
• Strong professional judgment and work ethic.
• Ability to work as a team member and be responsive to support staff.
