About the position

The Triathlon Coach/Brand Ambassador/Sales Associate role is designed for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about swimming and triathlons. This part-time position involves representing Slipstream Swim Machines at various events and conducting product demonstrations at prospective customers' homes. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, particularly on weekends, and will engage with the triathlon community while promoting the product.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Slipstream portable swim machine to scheduled demo locations within 20-30 miles and conduct product demonstrations for prospective customers.
• Attend triathlon events and represent Slipstream as needed.
• Provide feedback summary notes post-demo to improve customer engagement.
• Create content for social media and other marketing channels using the Slipstream machine when not demoing it.
• Promote Slipstream at swim clubs or triathlete clubs in the area.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and consultative sales skills.
• Ability to set up and complete demonstrations of the product.
• Previous experience in sales preferred.
• An avid swimmer or part of a swim club, triathlete club, or swim coaching preferred.
• Familiarity with content creation (image/video) and social media platforms preferred.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in swimming coaching or triathlon participation.
• Content creation skills for social media marketing.
