About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Graham Enterprise, Inc. is responsible for maintaining high food safety standards while preparing and serving food to customers. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The representative will also assist in maintaining store cleanliness and support various administrative tasks related to food service operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance the customer experience by maintaining a friendly positive attitude.
  • Drive store food service sales with an outgoing personality.
  • Treat each customer as a guest in the store.
  • Maintain all food service-related certifications and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment and follow procedures for food preparation and presentation.
  • Assist with the display, stocking, and signage of products throughout the store.
  • Inspect all food items to ensure proper temperature and freshness.
  • Maintain the quality of all food items.
  • Assist managers in administrative tasks, including food service inventory discrepancies research and reconciliation.
  • Maintain high standards in store cleanliness, layouts, displays, and stocking processes.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including dishwashing and sweeping.
  • Work safely with equipment that can create and hold high temperatures using appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative as an example to other employees for store promotions and merchandising standards.
  • Sustain good communication with customers, managers, fellow employees, and vendors.
  • Be responsible and proactive in shift duties and responsibilities, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Identify and resolve site issues and problems in a timely manner.
  • Efficiently process sales transactions using the POS register system and adhere to company guidelines.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Ability to be a leader and a team player.
  • Passion for customer service with exceptional people skills.
  • Previous food service experience strongly preferred.
  • Food Handler Certification required.
  • Serve Safe certification preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and run a cash register.
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to support food service programs and procedures.
  • Disciplined approach to daily work duties and company standards.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work on feet for an 8-hour shift.
