About the position
System Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for over-the-road (OTR) routes. The role involves transporting various goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, and machinery across the western region of America. Drivers can expect competitive pay and full benefits, with a focus on safety and support throughout their driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods and materials using a flatbed truck on OTR routes.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of cargo.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each load.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- A safe driving record is required.
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
- 4+ months of driving experience required.
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year truck driving experience preferred.
