Truck Driver III

About the position

The Truck Driver III position at Milwaukee Valve involves making scheduled and unscheduled deliveries and pick-ups, safely transporting materials between locations, and ensuring timely distribution of packages. The role requires operating a company truck, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards while on the job.

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled pick-ups and deliveries between Prairie du Sac and New Berlin locations.
• Transport materials to and from various business partners as needed.
• Load and unload the company truck and distribute packages throughout the facilities.
• Identify and match product numbers from pick slips.
• Pull products from locations in a timely manner.
• Use mathematical skills to pull the correct quantity from locations.
• Weigh and wrap freight as necessary.
• Verify products from pick slips with products on pallets.
• Operate company lift trucks safely and correctly.
• Enter and retrieve data from the computer system.
• Maintain cleanliness in a prescribed manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid WI Class B CDL (or able to obtain a Class B CDL).
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with operating a GPS device.
• Familiarity with safety and security procedures in transportation.
