About the position
The Truck Driver position at Panther Premium Logistics offers independent contractors the opportunity to work for themselves while traveling across the country. This role allows drivers to set their own schedules and participate in a lease purchase program to own a new tractor with flexible financing options.
Responsibilities
- Drive a leased tractor to transport goods across various locations.
- Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Manage and track delivery schedules and routes effectively.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in truck driving, preferably with lease or owner-operator experience.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with lease purchase programs.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
