About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking dedicated and professional Class A Truck Drivers to join our team. This position involves performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, ensuring that products are delivered safely and on time. As a driver for Penske, you will be responsible for unloading the trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as using a scanner to track products as they are unloaded and delivered. This role offers a unique opportunity to represent both Penske and our clients, as you will often be driving branded trucks and wearing their uniforms. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, with dispatch times from 6 PM to 2 AM. You will be driving late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks, which are designed for comfort and efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
  • Unload the trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
  • Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

Requirements

  • CDL Class A required.
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
