About the position
Penske Logistics is seeking dedicated and professional Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team. This full-time position offers an average annual salary of $80,000, along with a $10,000 retention bonus. As a driver, you will be responsible for a mixture of work that includes line haul dedicated routes and yard work, ensuring that you are home daily. The role involves driving late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks, which are designed with best-in-class specifications for comfort and efficiency. You will be part of a team that is committed to delivering products safely and on time, representing both Penske and our clients while on the road. The schedule for this position is flexible, with options for Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday shifts, including both AM and PM options. While the majority of your work will be during the week, there may be occasional Saturday work as needed by our customers. Responsibilities
- Drive a mixture of line haul dedicated routes and yard work.
- Complete drop and hook routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining safety standards.
- Represent Penske and its clients while on the road.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all federal and state regulations.
Requirements
- CDL Class A required.
- Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
- Ability to work the required schedule and location.
- Complete Penske employment application and submit to background investigation and drug screening.
