About the position

The Truck Driver position at Roehl Transport involves operating within the over-the-road Flatbed Fleet, primarily hauling unique freight across various locations, mostly east of I-35, but potentially throughout the lower 48 states and Canada. The role offers opportunities for additional income through Driver Trainer positions and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed trucks to transport freight across designated routes.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of loads to various locations.
• Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding load status.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Minimum of one year of driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate flatbed trucks and secure loads properly.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with flatbed trucking is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Driver Trainer is a plus.
