About the position
The Refrigerated Midwest Regional Fleet professional CDL truck driver role involves transporting primarily cheese and other temperature-controlled products within the Midwest region. This position emphasizes consistent home time, allowing drivers to return home weekly, which supports work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Transport refrigerated goods, primarily cheese and other temperature-controlled products, to various customers in the Midwest region.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving refrigerated trucks or similar vehicles.
- Ability to adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with temperature-controlled freight.
- Familiarity with the Midwest region and its routes.
