About the position
As a Truck Driver in Roehl Transport's over-the-road Flatbed Fleet, you will be responsible for hauling unique freight primarily east of I-35, with potential loads across the lower 48 states and Canada. This role offers opportunities to see various shippers and locations while providing options to increase your income through Driver Trainer roles or referral bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck and report any issues.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in flatbed trucking preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and secure freight properly.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with over-the-road driving.
- Familiarity with different types of freight and loading techniques.
- Previous experience as a Driver Trainer.
