Responsibilities

  • Prepare probate filings including petitions for probate, inventories, and tax returns.
  • Handle trust administration duties including managing expenses, distributions, and filing returns.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to ensure all legal documents are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation for all estate and trust matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a trust and estate paralegal.
  • At least 2 years of college education and a Paralegal Certificate is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing skills to prepare legal documents and correspondence.
