Leidos is seeking a Senior Proposal Editor with a TS/SCI clearance to join our Capture Operations & Excellence Group, which supports Leidos' largest and most strategic bids across the enterprise. The Proposal Editor plays a crucial role in ensuring that all proposal documents are technically consistent and present a unified voice. This position requires a keen eye for detail, as the editor is responsible for verifying grammar and punctuation, ensuring overall consistency, clarity, and readability, and applying the appropriate acronym treatment. The editor will also develop acronym lists and perform quality control to maintain high standards in proposal submissions. In this role, the Senior Proposal Editor will collaborate closely with the Proposal Manager and Proposal Coordinator to establish the editing schedule and populate the Editing Intake Form. The editor will provide high-quality editing in accordance with the Leidos House Style Guide, the proposal-specific Style Guide, and the established level of edit. Depending on the size of the proposal, the editor may act as the lead editor for an assigned proposal or work as part of a team of editors. It is essential for the editor to keep the production team management informed of any changes to proposal schedules and the level of effort required. The Senior Proposal Editor will also be expected to support Evaluation Notice (EN) and Final Proposal Revision (FPR) responses as required, ensuring that all submissions meet the high standards expected by Leidos and its clients. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity and quality of proposals that are critical to the company's success in securing contracts.
