Leidos is seeking a Senior Proposal Editor with a TS/SCI clearance to join our Capture Operations & Excellence Group, which supports Leidos' largest and most strategic bids across the enterprise. The Proposal Editor plays a crucial role in ensuring that all proposal documents are technically consistent and present a unified voice. This position requires a meticulous approach to editing, ensuring correct grammar and punctuation, verifying overall consistency, clarity, and readability, and applying the appropriate acronym treatment while developing acronym lists. The Senior Proposal Editor will also perform quality control to maintain high standards in proposal submissions. In this role, the Senior Editor will collaborate closely with the Proposal Manager and Proposal Coordinator to establish the editing schedule and populate the Editing Intake Form. The editor will provide high-quality editing in accordance with the Leidos House Style Guide, the proposal-specific Style Guide, and the established level of edit. Depending on the size of the proposal, the Senior Editor may act as the lead editor for an assigned proposal or work as part of a team of editors. It is essential to keep the production team management informed of any changes to proposal schedules and the level of effort required. The Senior Proposal Editor will act as the editing Point of Contact for assigned proposals, RFIs, or White Papers. Responsibilities include preparing necessary documents based on the level of edit and proposal size, negotiating timing and level of edit with the Proposal Manager and Proposal Coordinator, and attending meetings as requested. The editor will ensure that all edits adhere to the rules of grammar, the Leidos House Style Guide, and the proposal-specific style, while also developing and maintaining acronym lists and performing consistency checks on sections edited by multiple editors. Timeliness in completing edits is critical, as is supporting Evaluation Notice (EN) and Final Proposal Revision (FPR) responses as required.
