About the position
AVALON is a high-capacity multi-purpose venue located in Los Angeles, CA, that hosts a variety of events throughout the week, including club events on weekends. We are currently expanding our team and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as TSA/Porters. This part-time position requires individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and are available to work on weekdays, weekends, and late nights. The role involves a variety of responsibilities centered around providing excellent service to our VIP guests and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the venue. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, an outgoing personality, and the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities
- Prepping and servicing VIP Tables
- Assisting VIP servers
- Maintaining VIP Tables
- Taking out trash
- Making sure the venue stays clean
- Moving and setting up furniture and equipment
Requirements
- Must have TSA, Busser, or Porter experience
- Available on weekdays, weekends, and late nights
- Must be able to work fast for long hours
- Outgoing personality and strong team player
- Ability to move at a quick pace for 5+ hours
- Comfortable working in a loud environment
- Good radio communication skills
- Attention to detail
