About the position

The TSDF Facility Manager will oversee the inventory of supplies and equipment for the facility, ensuring compliance with DOT and OSHA requirements while managing the facility operations. The role requires a professional demeanor to positively represent Miller Environmental to employees and clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all permits and regulatory agencies.
• Independently manage maintenance of the facility and all associated processing and handling equipment.
• Work with staff to ensure all equipment and inventory are optimal for daily operations.
• Manage production of staff.
• Produce timely documentation for internal costs for Maintenance and other projects.
• Assist VP and others in operational projects as needed.
• Hold regular team meetings.
• Respond to project management needs in the facility to accept appropriate waste streams as they are generated.
• Participate in projects and events throughout the organization.
• Manage P+L and communicate any deviations from the budget to the VP.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work under pressure and time-sensitive deadlines
• Strong mechanical background
• Ability to negotiate and complete projects within budget
• Strong leadership abilities
• Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Valid unrestricted driver's license
• High School Diploma or GED, B.S. preferred
• Five or more years of progressive project management and facility management experience.
