About the position

Miller Environmental Group is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working TSDF Operations Coordinator to be responsible for client and vendor relations, scheduling, coordinating with multiple locations for personnel and equipment, and inventory of shop and office supplies. This is a fast-paced, highly visible position and requires an individual with exceptional communication, organizational, and computer skills. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, a multi-tasker, and a strong individual contributor with a superior sense of urgency. The TSDF Operations Coordinator will interact with clientele and supervise and coordinate crews and daily job scheduling. Responsibilities include invoicing, proposal writing, inventory control, and providing leadership and direction to technicians, drivers, and mechanics to ensure safe and compliant equipment and facility maintenance. Knowledge of DOT compliance for fleet and drivers' logs is a plus. The role also involves conducting inspections and creating reports to ensure compliance with all Local, State, and Federal Operating Permits. Essential duties include handling scheduling and dispatching of crew and equipment, which may include after-hours and emergency mobilization. The coordinator will independently manage projects from start-up to completion, ensuring maintenance on equipment is performed in a timely manner. Coordination with Accounting is necessary to ensure efficient billing, invoicing, and collection processes. The role also involves ordering parts and maintaining sufficient inventory of supplies, as well as fostering employee and client relations, soliciting new business, and solidifying current business relationships. Producing timely documentation for internal and external agencies and clients, including all regulatory operating permits, is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of DOT FLEET regulations.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar programs.
  • Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, proactive, and persistent.
  • High School Diploma or GED; B.S. preferred.
  • Transferable skills and experience/education in the environmental industry are required.
