About the position

Infosys is seeking a TSQL Programmer with experience in Java and Python to interface with key stakeholders and contribute to various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, leading validation for testing, and supporting implementation and transition activities. This position emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for a module.
• Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
• Communicate with business teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Interact with multiple stakeholders including DBA, Infrastructure team, Business, and Architecture group.
• Work in a global delivery environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced matrix environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in TSQL programming, Java, and Python scripting.
• Experience in TSQL (MSSQL/SYBASE) code development, performance tuning, query optimization, and batch or ETL creation.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong knowledge of Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes using TSQL with Java/Perl scripting.
• At least 4+ years of experience with PL SQL / Oracle.
• Good understanding of relational transactional databases like Sybase and MSSQL.
• Exposure to Agile methodology of project execution.
• Familiarity with security concepts such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and SSL.
