About the position

The TSSCI Software Developer role at Actalent involves designing, developing, and implementing both frontend and backend software for a complex web application. The developer will manage the entire software development process from conception to deployment, ensuring that the software is maintainable and upgradable post-deployment. This position requires a strong understanding of various programming languages and cloud computing technologies, as well as the ability to work in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
• Maintain and upgrade software following deployment.
• Oversee and guide the analysis, writing, building, and deployment of software.
• Supervise automated testing and provide feedback to management during the development process.
• Modify and test changes to previously developed programs.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance with CI Poly.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with software development and coding.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud computing.
• Frontend knowledge including JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Backend development skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, Helm, etc.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in Angular and React.
• Security+ certification.
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with React, Docker, Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Proficiency working with non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
• Proficiency with source control tools such as Git and GitLab.
