About The Position

Responsible for, but not limited to, work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture of positive displacement power sections for downhole oilfield use. Relocation to Commerce, Georgia may be provided for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• CAD/CAM proficiency (Preferably SolidWorks)
• At least five years experience working in the area of power section design and manufacturing.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English well enough to read technical documents and effectively communicate with team members.
• Must be able to use a Windows-based personal computer.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient with advanced technical software.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to both RPC and Thru Tubing Solutions policies and procedures.
• Adheres to both industry and company safety policies.
• Maintains personal safety training at 90% with a goal of 100%.
• Design of new power sections.
• Failure analysis and product improvement.
• Elastomer analysis and development.
• Manufacturing process planning and optimization.
• Programming tasks associated with machine tool operation.
• Quality/Safety management of products and manufacturing processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
