About the position

As a Turbine Product Configurator and Change Management Specialist at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in supporting complex projects related to the development of turbine components within the Large Gas Turbine engineering division. Your primary focus will be on managing product definition data, ensuring timely delivery of customer engines, and collaborating with various teams to maintain high-quality product configurations.

Responsibilities

• Release product definition data in SAP OPP and PLM TeamCenter by creating Engineering Change Masters (ECM) for gas turbine parts.
• Maintain product definition data in SAP OPP by creating and revising Materials Masters (MM) and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Manage turbine product definition changes by creating change management plans, communicating proposed changes, and implementing them into the BOM in SAP OPP.
• Develop, create, check, and maintain Product and Engine Configuration for turbine components to ensure on-time delivery of customer engines.
• Coordinate with purchasing/material planners, Order Management, COE, Project Leads, and other stakeholders to align requirements for product configuration.
• Support assigned tasks including data packages to ensure timely availability of Product Definition packages.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or AA/AS degree with equivalent related work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in power generation equipment design and/or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SAP R/3 or S/4 Hana, and Siemens PLM Teamcenter.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and a self-motivated, organized, and proactive attitude.
• Experience collaborating with international teams, preferably with intercultural experience in the USA, Germany, and India.
