About the position

The position at Intuit involves providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers, specifically focusing on business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and tax preparation for business tax returns.
• Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
• Interact with customers through video and audio tools to assist with tax-related inquiries.
• Prepare and file business and personal tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
• Document customer interactions and ensure high-quality customer experiences.
• Meet company key performance metrics and participate in pilot testing and projects.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers.
