About the position

The Turf & Ornamental Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales in the turf and landscape industry, focusing on golf courses, sports fields, and landscape maintenance. This role emphasizes customer service and relationship building, requiring knowledge of turf, pesticides, fertilizers, and related products. The position offers a flexible work schedule and opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities

  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business.
  • Service existing clients by preparing estimates and following through to fulfillment.
  • Effectively demonstrate product line.
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas.

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in sales with a strong track record of success.
  • Willingness to waive sales experience for hands-on turf knowledge.
  • High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
