About the position
The Turf Product Sales Representative at Agriland FS is responsible for selling turf-related products and generating new sales by building relationships with various clients, including lawn and landscape companies, golf courses, and municipalities. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and excellent customer service skills to consult and improve customers' businesses.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize activities generating sales leads
- Develop business relationships to consult and help improve a customer's business
- Communicate well to ensure excellent customer service
- Follow all credit policies, accurately complete sales contracts and billing
- Stay current on industry information to deliver problem-solving expertise to accounts
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the turf industry preferred
- Experience solving turf related concerns for customers would be beneficial
- Strong organizational skills with experience meeting multiple deadlines
- Excellent business and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
