About the position

The Senior Vice President, General Manager at Entravision Communications Corporation is responsible for overseeing all operations of the station to enhance news and programming ratings while increasing market revenue. This leadership role requires a results-oriented individual who can motivate staff and ensure the implementation of sound policies and performance goals in alignment with corporate objectives.

Responsibilities

• Direct the station's day-to-day operations and provide strong leadership and motivation to the entire staff.
• Oversee performance of all department heads and hold them accountable for performance against predetermined goals.
• Ensure sound policies, systems, and performance goals are in place for all areas of the organization.
• Oversee the financial activities of the station, increasing cash flow to meet the station's goals.
• Manage and review budgets.
• Oversee marketing strategy and execution, working closely with marketing/promotions to enhance brand awareness.
• Develop and maintain an effective working environment that encourages high productivity and good staff relations.
• Establish and maintain strong community relationships, especially with Latino community leaders and their organizations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with every head-end manager and all regional managers.

Requirements

• CRM experience mandatory.
• Established record of success in increasingly responsible management positions in a broadcasting company.
• Demonstrated expertise in sales and knowledge of advertising, media, promotions, news, and finance.
• Ability to rapidly establish credibility and respect with superiors, peers, subordinates, and the community.
