About the position

We are seeking a freelance on-camera reporter, anchor, or host to conduct taped interviews and product demos at conferences, initially including the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, during the period of Jan 7 - 10, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a series of pre-selected interviews and product demos at the CES show floor, accompanied by a camera person.
• Maintain professional demeanor and put those interviewed or products displayed in the best possible light.
• Those interviewed will have approval to use footage for business/online purposes or submit to be on publication websites or sponsored broadcast tv segments.
• Collaborate with editors for copy editing and adherence to style guidelines.
• Think proactively to find opportunities to improve production quality for use in multimedia content.
• Maintain ethical journalism practices throughout all reporting activities.

Requirements

• Prior experience and examples of on camera reporting, anchor or hosting on TV segments. Please share links or clips in your response.
• Proven experience in journalism or related writing positions is highly desirable.
• Strong speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Please confirm availability during the week of Jan 7 - 10 to prepare and conduct interviews at the conference.
