About the position
The Lead Teacher at Childtime Learning Centers is responsible for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for preschool children while mentoring fellow teachers. This role emphasizes the promotion of children's social, physical, and intellectual growth, alongside effective classroom management and communication with families.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
- Mentor fellow teachers in educational practices.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the classroom.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
Requirements
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center standards.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
