About the position

The TypeScript Developer with PHP and Cloud role is designed for experienced professionals who will be responsible for designing, customizing, and implementing IT solutions for wholesale brokerage platforms. The position requires a strong background in TypeScript, PHP, and cloud technologies, with a focus on collaboration with lead architects and engineers to develop and maintain architectural templates and operational documents. The role also involves mentoring team members and engaging with stakeholders to update them on IT development processes and costs.

Responsibilities

• Design, customize, and implement IT solutions for wholesale brokerage platforms.
• Maintain familiarity with new development tools and techniques for systems analysis, design, and development.
• Develop and review solution architecture, design, and code.
• Review and rationally analyze requirements in a timely manner.
• Research and propose solutions for cloud data transformation, data connections, operational frameworks, and application integration.
• Work closely with lead architects and engineers to create and maintain architectural templates and build/operational documents.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to develop service catalogs.
• Lead a large team of Developers, Senior Developers, and Tech Leads across various tech stacks.
• Develop an understanding of existing client IT applications while actively searching for improvement areas.
• Streamline workflows and process optimization by implementing inventive technical solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders, updating them on IT development processes and costs.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and fix technical problems.
• Work closely with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify architectural patterns.
• Evaluate existing tech stack and emerging technologies on a regular basis.
• Develop and implement ways to move applications and workloads to the cloud and modernize applications.
• Enhance cloud capability by creating and implementing cloud application patterns.
• Lead and guide development & support teams, providing technical/functional guidance on the application.
• Orchestrate work prioritization, scheduling, and allocation for the Service Provider team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on TypeScript, PHP, and cloud technologies.
• Deep hands-on experience with multiple development approaches, patterns, and architectures.
• Solid experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Service Now, and ITIL tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with .NET, SQL, MongoDB, and Java.
