About the position

DeciBel Research is seeking a skilled Typescript Web Developer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This position is critical for designing and implementing intuitive user interface strategies in collaboration with product owners and back-end developers. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams throughout the software design and development process, including prototyping and product launch phases. The role involves developing and maintaining an auto-scaling system on a cloud platform, utilizing microservices or server-less architecture to ensure optimal performance and scalability. In addition to development tasks, the Typescript Web Developer will conduct thorough code analysis and recommend changes to policies and procedures aimed at improving the quality of JavaScript and CSS. The candidate will also be responsible for analyzing the root causes of production errors and proposing effective solutions. A key aspect of this role is researching user preferences and behaviors to enhance overall performance and user experience. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement intuitive UI strategies in collaboration with product owners and back-end developers.
• Work closely with internal teams for software design and development, prototyping, and product launch.
• Develop and maintain the auto-scaling system in a cloud platform using microservice or server-less architecture.
• Conduct code analysis and recommend changes in policies and procedures to improve JavaScript and CSS quality.
• Analyze the root cause for production errors and recommend solutions.
• Research user preferences and behavior to enhance overall performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• At least 3-5+ years of experience in Typescript with mastery in microservices architecture.
• Advanced understanding of React.js and its patterns.
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors, like SAAS & LESS.
• Good understanding of real-time messaging systems, like WebSockets.
• Experience in Agile software development.
• Critical thinker with great problem-solving skills.
