About the position
As a U.S. Army Cyber Operations Specialist, you will leverage your cybersecurity expertise to protect the Army's critical weapons systems from cyber threats. This role involves both offensive and defensive operations in cyberspace, ensuring the security of systems such as satellites and navigation tools. You will respond to cyber attacks and assist commanders in gaining a strategic advantage by targeting adversary capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Defend the Army's weapons systems against cyber threats.
- Maintain dominance in offensive and defensive cyberspace operations.
- Respond to adversary attacks in real-time.
- Enable commanders to gain an advantage in cyberspace by targeting adversary activities.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in Cybersecurity.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Computer Systems & Networks.
- Familiarity with Technical Procedures in Cyber Operations.
