About the position

The Senior Director position at Fitch's U.S. & Canada Corporates Rating team involves managing a team of analysts within the Hardware/IT Services or Software sector. This role is pivotal in providing insightful credit analysis and fostering a collaborative work environment, while also serving as the primary analyst for high-profile issuers. The position emphasizes leadership, analytical skills, and effective communication to influence debt capital markets decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 4-6 analysts covering approximately 90 public and private debt issuers.
  • Perform analysis of quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality in the Hardware/IT services or Software sector.
  • Articulate Fitch's credit views and sector outlook in meetings, conference calls, and written research.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the TMT team.
  • Engage with external stakeholders in the ratings process, including industry management teams and analysts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years relevant experience in a capital markets and/or credit analysis role.
  • Knowledge of the Hardware/Technology or Software sector.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to tackle complex topics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • CFA preferred.
