About the position

The Senior Director of Credit Analysis at Fitch Ratings will lead a team of analysts within the Technology/Hardware sector, focusing on both Hardware/IT Services and Software. This role involves managing a team, conducting in-depth credit analysis, and representing Fitch in various external engagements. The position emphasizes leadership, analytical skills, and effective communication to influence credit quality assessments and support the debt capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 4-6 analysts covering approximately 90 public and private debt issuers.
• Perform analysis of quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality in the Hardware/IT services or Software sector.
• Articulate Fitch's credit views and sector outlook in meetings, conference calls, and written research.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the TMT team.
• Engage with external stakeholders in the ratings process, including industry management teams and analysts.
• Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Corporates and related credit groups.

Requirements

• 10+ years relevant experience in a capital markets and/or credit analysis role.
• Knowledge of the Hardware/Technology or Software sector.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong intellectual curiosity and a life-long learning mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex analytical topics clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CFA preferred.
