About the position

As a Private Banker in the U.S. Private Bank at J.P. Morgan, you will be responsible for advising families on building, preserving, and managing their wealth. This role requires a collaborative and motivated individual who can provide a first-class experience to clients. You will leverage your knowledge of investments, financial planning, credit, and banking to advise clients on their balance sheets and generate new client acquisitions. Working alongside a talented team, you will have the opportunity to take your career to the next level while ensuring that clients' needs and objectives are met through a holistic planning approach.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients by earning trust and understanding client needs.
  • Generate business results and acquire new assets from existing and new clients.
  • Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation and investment management.
  • Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients.
  • Connect clients across all lines of business of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
  • Ensure proposed solutions fulfill clients' needs and objectives through a holistic goals-based planning approach.
  • Adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.

Requirements

  • Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Series 7, 66, and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date.
  • Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
  • Strong community presence with an established network.
  • Experience or understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts.
  • Focus on client experience and work tirelessly on behalf of clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP preferred.
  • Proactive and uses critical thinking to solve problems.
  • Dynamic and credible professional with exceptional presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a disciplined approach to business.
  • Experience with equity and fixed income markets and alternative investments.
