This includes sweeping, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors, collecting refuse, cleaning washrooms, air ducts, venetian blinds, washing light fixtures, and waxing desks. The role requires the use of various tools and equipment such as electric floor polishers, brooms, mops, dust pans, hand trucks, ladders, buckets, brushes, and power cleaning equipment, along with necessary safety equipment. The materials used include cleaning solutions, floor polish, floor seal, floor stripping material, paper towels, wax, and soap. The job duties include obtaining job assignments from supervision, sweeping designated areas, cleaning washrooms, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the work area is clean and orderly. The position is represented by IUE and is a 2nd shift role. US Citizenship is required for this position, and the application period is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date, subject to change based on business needs and candidate availability.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of janitorial duties such as sweeping, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors.
- Collect refuse and clean washrooms, replenishing towels and soap as necessary.
- Wash windows, walls, and light fixtures; clean air ducts and wax desks.
- Work from scaffolding and ladders as required.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
