About the position

The UAS Pilot - Entry position at General Dynamics Information Technology involves supporting research in the use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) across various aviation scenarios. Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in the operation of unmanned aircraft.
• Develop flight test plans and procedures.
• Create briefing and training materials to support flight operations.
• Plan and perform a wide range of in-process and final testing of various systems and equipment under different conditions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including manufacturers, vendors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate UAS integration into the NAS.

Requirements

• 20 hours of logged time as UAS Pilot In-Charge (PIC).
• Ability to obtain Agency Specific Suitability background check.
