The sUAS Pilot serves as the face of the business, emphasizing professionalism and safety in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operations and lead flight crews.
• Collaborate with Maintenance teams on flight tests and maintenance checks.
• Demonstrate professional and interpersonal leadership.
• Provide technical leadership and assist with troubleshooting aircraft systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, technical, and regulatory procedures.
• Write documents, fill out forms, and record data accurately.
• Maintain strong organizational skills for record keeping.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges during operations.

Requirements

• Part 107 Certificate is required.
• Verifiable flight time is required.
• An associate's degree or above in an aerospace discipline is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience with sUAS systems is preferred.
• FAA or other government certification as an airman or technician is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen is required.
• Strong writing skills and proficiency in word processors, spreadsheets, and databases are required.
• Data collection and processing experience is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a light manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
