About the position

The UAT/QA Tester at Silotech Group, Inc. is responsible for ensuring that software capabilities meet business rules and functional requirements. This role involves participating in testing and evaluation efforts, developing test plans, and performing various types of testing to validate software functionality before the legacy system is decommissioned. The position requires collaboration with Integrated Product Teams and involves technical writing and administrative support for testing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and management discussions to support testing efforts.
  • Provide input for the development and maintenance of testing and evaluation documentation.
  • Draft, maintain, analyze, and review program documentation and databases.
  • Participate in informal/formal Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Production Readiness Reviews (PRR).
  • Analyze the Functional Requirements Document (FRD) to write appropriate test cases and report defects.
  • Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and document significant activities and milestones.
  • Prepare test data to cover all functional scenarios.
  • Participate in requirements traceability with developers.
  • Develop test plans, reports, use cases, and test scripts for various projects and systems.
  • Provide input for developing test procedures with clear objectives and pass/fail criteria.
  • Analyze test and evaluation plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Perform functional testing of applications, including Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, and/or Integration Testing.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience analyzing Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) and developing test cases.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
