About the position

The UI Angular Software Developer at GDIT plays a crucial role in delivering cloud solutions and operational support to the Intelligence Community. This position involves applying advanced technology to ensure the safety and security of the nation while transforming clients for the modern age. The developer will be responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle, providing guidance, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and provide guidance to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems.
• Create advanced models and diagrams to guide programmers in software code development.
• Provide analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status.
• Guide and provide work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
• Act as a consultant across multiple programs and/or contracts within a division.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Experience with Angular and Java.
• Experience working on a SCRUM team supporting Lean Agile Framework.
• Conduct routine quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
• Experience with GIT and Jenkins.
• Demonstrated experience with web service design and development.
• Experience with continuous integration, test automation, and DevOps.
• Familiarity with LINUX environments.
• Knowledge of JDBC, ODBC, or direct database interfaces.

• Experience implementing microservices.
