About the position

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced UI / UX designer with front-end development experience to join our team. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and visually appealing designs for custom web and mobile products for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and marketers to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet client requirements. This role is open for NJ-based candidates that can work on a hybrid basis or remote candidates based in the USA. In this position, you will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications. You will also be responsible for creating custom icons specific to the client's business requirements and digital products. Conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs will be a key part of your role. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and meet client requirements. Staying up-to-date with design trends and best practices, and incorporating them into your designs will be essential to your success in this role. You will communicate design concepts and decisions to client stakeholders and team members, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the design process. This is a direct-hire hybrid position available for both full-time and part-time candidates, offering a competitive salary based on experience level and additional benefits.

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Create custom icons specific to client's business requirements and digital products.

• Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices, and incorporate them into your designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional mobile and web UI / UX design experience working with software product or consulting companies.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and projects.
• Experience with front-end development languages such as Angular and Bootstrap will be a plus.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating custom graphics and icons specific to business requirements.
• Must be a creative designer that can transform software requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a small team environment with minimal supervision.
• Experience with WordPress development, a plus but not required.
