About the position

The UI Developer position at Insight Global involves working as part of a collaborative global team to enhance user interfaces for a major player in the cruise industry. The role focuses on designing and implementing visually appealing and functional user interfaces, collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams to drive key initiatives such as website enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and ES6.
• Implement API fetching to integrate with backend services.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with designers and developers in the US to create responsive and accessible web pages.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and ES6.
• 4+ years of experience in fetching APIs.
• 4+ years of experience in unit testing.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Experience with Storybook and Atomic Design principles.
• Familiarity with Material UI.
• Experience with jQuery.
• Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility standards.
