About the position

The UI Developer position involves working within a collaborative global team to enhance the user interface of a cruise industry website. The role focuses on designing and implementing visually appealing and functional user interfaces, optimizing web applications, and ensuring seamless user experiences across different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and ES6.
• Implement API fetching to integrate with backend services.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with designers and developers in the US to create responsive and accessible web pages.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and ES6.
• 4+ years of experience in fetching APIs.
• 4+ years of experience in unit testing.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Experience with Storybook and Atomic Design principles.
• Familiarity with Material UI.
• Experience with jQuery.
• Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility standards.
