About the position

The UI Developer for Pre-Trade Fixed Income will join a dynamic team within a global investment bank, focusing on providing IT solutions for Global Macro, Equity/Securities Lending, and Credit businesses. This role involves designing and developing user interfaces for both web and desktop platforms, enhancing collaboration between sales and traders in the Rates/FX domain. The position requires a strong understanding of modern web and desktop development technologies, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality, user-friendly applications within an agile framework.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly interfaces for web and desktop platforms that facilitate collaboration between sales and traders.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including sales teams, traders, and other developers, to gather and understand requirements.
  • Implement responsive and interactive UI elements using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and desktop frameworks (Tauri, .NET, Kotlin Multiplatform, etc.).
  • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize the application for performance and scalability.
  • Be part of the UX/UI design to provide the best user experience.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the application to ensure functionality and usability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UI Developer with a strong portfolio of cross-platform projects.
  • Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like SvelteKit, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with desktop development frameworks like Tauri, .NET (Blazor/MAUI), Kotlin Multiplatform, or similar.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
  • Experience in the financial sector, particularly with Rates/FX, is a plus.
