About the position

The UI Developer with expertise in Adobe Analytics will play a crucial role in implementing and configuring analytics solutions that capture detailed and actionable data across various digital platforms using the Adobe framework. This position requires a strong focus on maintaining a standardized approach to data tagging and tracking, which is essential for robust and consistent analytics reporting. The developer will conduct thorough testing and validation of analytics implementations in both staging and production environments to ensure accurate data collection, which is vital for informed decision-making and strategy development. Collaboration is key in this role, as the UI Developer will work closely with IT, data governance, and risk management teams to ensure that all analytics practices comply with regulatory and quality standards. The developer will actively participate in agile team settings, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues related to data tagging or analytics tracking. Additionally, the role involves defining and documenting technical requirements for the integration of new analytics technologies and data assets, ensuring that the organization stays at the forefront of digital analytics capabilities. This position is hybrid, requiring the developer to be onsite three days a week at one of the specified client locations, which include Chicago, IL; Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Irving, TX; and Hackensack, NJ. The contract duration is expected to be 12 months or longer, providing an opportunity for significant contributions to the organization’s analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure analytics solutions using JavaScript to capture detailed and actionable data across digital platforms in Adobe framework.
  • Maintain a standardized approach to data tagging and tracking to support robust and consistent analytics reporting.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of analytics implementations in both staging and production environments to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Collaborate with IT, data governance, and risk management teams to ensure that analytics practices comply with all regulatory and quality standards.
  • Actively participate in agile team settings to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues related to data tagging or analytics tracking.
  • Define and document technical requirements for the integration of new analytics technologies and data assets.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS along with experience with frameworks and libraries such as React and Angular.
  • 7+ years of experience in roles focused on web analytics and digital tagging implementations.
  • In-depth understanding of Adobe Analytics, including hands-on experience with implementing tracking solutions.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products, including Adobe Target, and Audience Manager.
  • Experience with Web/Mobile SDKs related to digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of WebSDK and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and its integration with digital analytics and data management workflows.
  • Experience with Tag Management Systems (e.g., Tealium, Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager) and a clear grasp of digital analytics architectures.
  • Understanding of mobile analytics development (iOS or Android) best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a continuous delivery environment and utilize modern programming methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
